Double Major and Minor Programs
Double Major and Minor Programs for the Industrial Engineering Department
The principles regarding the Double Major Program (DMP), which allows students who are successfully completing their undergraduate program at Galatasaray University to obtain a second undergraduate degree, are included in the Galatasaray University Double Major Program Directive. The program, quotas, and application conditions for the DMP are announced with the proposal of the Industrial Engineering DMP and Minor Program Commission, the approval of the Faculty Board, and the decision of the GSÜ Senate.
The total number of new students to be accepted into the DMP for each academic year cannot exceed 20% of the first semester student number of each undergraduate program participating in that program for that academic year. A student applying to the DMP can apply to the program at the earliest at the beginning of the 3rd and at the latest at the beginning of the 5th semester of their first major program. Currently, students from the Computer Engineering and Business Administration Departments can apply to the DMP for the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Program.
